A little information on our beautiful deer herd:

Revesby’s history stretches back almost nine hundred years, when Cistercian monks from Rievaulx Abbey, North Yorkshire established a monastery in 1143.

The Revesby Estate deer park was created by the first Joseph Banks, great grandfather of the renowned botanist and president of the Royal Society, Sir Joseph Banks, in 1717.

Only deer in peak condition are selected to become venison meat for sale.

Great care is taken at every stage of preparation and connoisseurs of fine venison will appreciate this care in the rich flavour and delicate texture of the dish on the plate.

It is a real taste of history and we are pleased to present our venison as a part of Lincolnshire’s fine food culture.
