This June we are bringing something new to the Revesby Estate…

On the Saturday 27th June we shall be welcoming the PALS Battalion CIC who shall be hosting a ‘community celebration of our Armed Forces’.

Armed Forces Day is an annual celebration of multiple
events country wide in a showcase of support and commitment to those who serve.

The PALS Battalion CIC are a multi-award winning Community Interest Company, founded in 2018 by Leon, who lives on the Estate and is a Veteran himself. Here’s what he had to say about the event…

“This June as part of the PALS Battalion CIC’s commitment to the Armed Forces community, we are bringing together a ‘pilot’ event for Armed Forces Day 2026 at Revesby Village Hall and Green. This inaugural event shall be a community gathering to celebrate the Armed Forces and get the local community together with the aims of developing a deeper understanding, show commitment and support for our service personnel, veterans, reservists and cadets.

In what is often a very turbulent world, ordinary people often carry the weight of the extraordinary during service to the nation and a dedicated time to come together to not
only reflect upon such matters but also celebrate them too, is a much needed morale boost and key component in supporting the past, present and future within the Armed
Forces community.

Revesby Estate is steeped in rich military history and we are very excited to get the community together for such an event. We aim to celebrate the past keeping those
memories alive that are woven into the fabric of the estate, whilst also committing to continued support, awareness and appreciation of the Armed Forces and the wider
community. ”

If you fancy popping along on Saturday 27th June, to the Village Hall and Green between 12:00-16:00 for some refreshments and community celebrations of our Armed Forces then you are more than welcome.

Please join us in thanking those who serve this nation.
