Diary of a Revesby Shepherdess

8th May

Tomorrow we head off to Newark show for the first show of the year. It’s been a busy few weeks of washing and trimming trying to get them ready. I also vaccinated all the lambs for blue tongue. The final sheep are getting sheared with just one left to do. The flies are starting to come out so I have treated them with fly protection. Hopefully the show sheep will stay clean for tomorrow. I have a shearling ram and ram lamb going. Two aged ewes and their ewe lambs. Then two shearling ewes. So I’m hoping all the hard work pays off. Then next weekend is Woodhall Spa Show and I hope to wean the lambs.
