Diary of a Revesby Shepherdess

9th June

The show season has started!

Newark show went very well with my shearling ewes placing 2nd and 3rd out of a very big class. My aged ewe also placed 2nd and the rest of my sheep placed highly.

Then we went to Woodhall Show where my ewe lamb went a won in a massive class against Suffolks , poll Dorsets and lots of big lambs. Then my ram went and came 2nd in the ram class, followed by my shearlings who placed third and the rest of the flock place in the top five placings.

I’m excited to see how we get on at Lincolnshire Show but I know that there are some good sheep going but I’m pleased with what my sheep look like this year. This week will be busy trimming and washing them ready for my biggest show of the year.
