Diary of a Revesby Shepherdess – April 2026
Lambing 2026 is finally finished. Revesby Joey who won Lincolnshire show had a nice set of triplets. Which means back to bottle feeding lambs. I keep them on their mother and will top them up with some lamb milk. Another ewe who lambed was Tressie who had a nice single. Hopefully by the weekend they can go in together and go out.
The show team has been chosen and I have entered all of my May shows. The first show is Newark show. The show preparation starts this weekend by moving the shows ewe home ready for washing and trimming. Barnaby will stay with the boys for now and will be trimmed and washed nearer the date. Dumbo the ram lamb is also going but will also come home. The rest the of sheep are slowly being sheared and are enjoying the spring weather.
