Air-Switch Limited is a family run business based at Revesby who provide Air-con and ventilation solutions and  maintenance, servicing and building compliance requirements.

Our 2024 Social and Environmental Causes Fund, generated through the recycling of some of our waste materials, was split at the end of last year between Horncastle Food Larder and the purchase of 14 apple and pear trees to be planted on derelict land near our office/workshop. Through a mixture of shipping delays and some pretty awful weather, we have finally managed to successfully complete the planting of the trees, albeit around a month later than planned.

Our small team very much enjoyed some winter sun whilst planting the saplings. Whilst we know we are not directly offsetting our carbon footprint on this occasion, we felt that this contribution to our local environment could be a lovely way utilise our first contribution of this kind and lay a foundation for other ways in which we can help improve the local environment or for people to enjoy their surroundings in the future.

We will be continuing to work to ensure that as much of our waste as possible is recycled. From metals to pallets, and cardboard to plastics, we take great care in minimising the footprint of our business activity on the planet as best as we can. We are currently considering the allocation of the 2025 Social and Environmental Causes fund and are keen to support either an existing environmental project or planting activity when our fund is allocated later this year. We would also like to talk to anyone in an educational setting who may like a fruit tree donation as part of an educational allotment / garden or sensory garden for their students and teaching teams to enjoy for many years to come. We also plan on making a further contribution to Horncastle Food Larder, as well as a local animal rescue and local sporting initiative from any funds accrued.
