Revesby Estate (7 miles from Horncastle) owns two traditional lakes set in mature woodland. The lakes have ample car parking and toilet facilities. Each lake is run as a separate Club because of their very different characteristics. The two lakes are called the Wong and the Revesby Reservoir.

Both lakes are stocked with clean, quality Common/Mirror carp, the reservoir has the additional benefit of also having large heads of course fish and pike.

Revesby Estate has introduced Fish Micro Chipping.

The Wong

The smaller carp lake, the Wong is 1.6 ha (4 acre) in size. This lake is for Wong members only.

This lake is less expensive because the fish sizes are less than in the main Reservoir. The fish in the Wong at the moment range into the low twenty lbs area. This lake was first stocked in the late 1980s. However the Wong has a higher stocking rate.
